Actress Lindsay Lohan is facing jail after allegedly violating her probation. The 23-year-old star - on probation for driving under the influence - has failed to fulfil the judge's alcohol education requirement, according to showbiz. Judge Marsha Revel told Lohan last year she must attend alcohol education courses every seven days. Lohan is said to have frequently waited until the 21st day to attend classes.

"We've learned what's going to come out at Lindsay's hearing on May 20 - that she has habitually violated the judge's requirement to attend classes at least once every seven days." But Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, said: "We have received no negative written report from the program and we therefore contend that Ms Lohan is in compliance."
