Ryan Seacrest has given reports alleging his romantic involvement with Lindsay Lohan a spanking by insisting he is just trying to mentor the singer.

The American Idol host had raised eyebrows after he was previously spotted dining with the Mean Girls star.

The pair were later seen heading for a reported party at her home in the same vehicle.But the popular radio presenter dismissed any romantic inclinations with the star, saying he was just offering advice about her music career.

“I’m trying to give her guidance. She wants to sing. She loves to sing… and she’s good,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling a TMZ.com cameraman.
