Lindsay Lohan's career has been beset with problems as of late. Her film Labor Pains, in which the actress stars as a woman who fakes a pregnancy in order to remain gainfully employed, is set to debut on the ABC Family channel this summer, instead of via a theatrical bow. The film is Lohan's first in quite a while and was supposed to mark her return as a professional actress.

The Nu Image/Millennium Films project, which also stars Chris Parnell, Cheryl Hines, and Janeane Garofalo, is also set to be released on DVD in August, immediately following its cable bow. Rumors have been swirling that the producers are looking to raise marketing and advertising funds for the film to have a small release in theaters.
