Lindsay Lohan is getting some help with her new album from R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, who says the "Mean Girls" actress is better than he thought she was going to be.Ne-Yo, who has written hit songs for Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears and more, has agreed to help the 22-year-old singer/actress on her new album Spirit in the Dark.
He tells OK! magazine in New York, "I'm just trying to bring some stuff out of her that nobody's seen before.""I don't know what the album is going to be, but the songs that we did are real quality."
The 25-year-old "Because of You" hitmaker also can't help expressing his admiration for Lohan as he reveals the first track they had collaborated on.
He continues, "The first song we did together, "Bossy," she actually surprised me. She was a lot better than I thought she was going to be. She does a fantastic job on it, hands down."Lohan's Spirit in the Dark is due for release in November.
