While vacationing in Hawaii, TMZ reports, Lindsay Lohan was at a house party — not drinking, sources say — when her $5,000 Chanel purse, with $10,000 in cash inside (!), was purloined from the car where she had accidentally left it.
Not only did the pricey accessory contain a serious wad of cash, it had her passport and other ID — and the probation paperwork granting her approval to go on the Hawaii trip. LiLo has a probation hearing scheduled for Wednesday, so had she not been able to travel without ID, she might have been found in violation of her probation and landed back in jail yet again.
Luckily, after a friend of the starlet questioned a local, he produced the bag, claiming to have found it on the street. Although the $10,000 in cash that had been inside was gone, the starlet didn’t ask questions, so happy was she to get the purse back. Frankly, we’re kind of shocked that Lindsay had that much cash to begin with! Isn’t she supposed to be broke?

Forget those rumblings that Kim Kardashian’s marriage was a setup, her pals tell OK! The reality star is said to have wed Kris Humphries because she believed it was true love — only to discover almost immediately that they weren’t right for each other.
Despite speculation that she went through with the wedding for the publicity and the payday, an insider maintains that she “did not commit fraud,” avowing, “She truly was in love with him and wanted to live happily ever after. Her heartbreak is genuine.”
“Kim quickly realized after the honeymoon that she and Kris just weren’t compatible, and she had just made the biggest mistake of her life,” a family member reportedly confided, insisting, “She’s really not a fake. She was just on this runaway train with no easy way off.”
We can’t help but wonder why she jumped on board that train in the first place. Why not just wait to get engaged?
Forgive and Forget?
Katherine Heigl says that if husband Josh Kelley cheats on her, she might actually forgive him rather than end the marriage. Really? You want to give him a heads-up on that?
“Josh and I always said that cheating would be a deal-breaker; there is no second chance,” the “Knocked Up” star admits to British Cosmo. “But I’ve seen friends and acquaintances go through it and they’ve found a way back to the relationship, and a way to forgive each other.”
“As much as I would kill him if he cheated because it would destroy me, I have started to question whether, if a mistake were to be made and it was a one-time thing, I would forgive him,” says the actress of the musician, whom she married in 2007. “Because look at the life we’ve built together. We have history, we have a child.” (They adopted daughter Naleigh in 2009.) We can’t help but wonder why Katherine has started questioning this.
