Lindsay Lohan is spending the larger portion of her recent days working off a community service responsibility at the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, and Lohan's work within the office isn't paperwork—she helps out in the morgue. After spending a day surrounded by the bodies of dead L.A. county residents, it's only natural that Lindsay felt the need to break loose on Halloween night and get away from it all at an exclusive event. Where did she choose to party? It wasn't the hottest new night club; it was the Hollywood Forever cemetery.
The Los Angeles Times confirmed that Lindsay Lohan spent the daylight hours of Halloween within the confines of the county morgue in an effort to win back the good graces of the judge after botching her prior efforts at completing the community service sentence she received for probation violations. Lohan hopes to avoid a harsh jail sentence by going beyond the 16 hours a week of service the judge ordered her to complete prior to a hearing early Wednesday, November 2.
TMZ has since announced that Lohan left the doom and gloom of the morgue, put on her best naughty nurse costume, complete with red high-heels, and spent the late night hours partying in the Hollywood Cemetery. Perhaps Lindsay took the phrase from ashes to ashes a bit too literally?
The Hollywood Forever cemetery, a member of the U.S. National Registry of Historic Places, is the final resting place of many of Hollywood's most famous actors and actresses of yesteryear. Luminaries such as Mel Blanc, Douglas Fairbanks, Tyrone Power, Dee Dee Ramone, Rudolph Valentina, and Fay Wray are interred within the cemetery along with many other older stars.
While the idea of partying the night away in a cemetery may seem odd and a bit disrespectful to some, Lindsay Lohan found good company with both living and dead revelers. Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera were also reported guests at the event.
