It seems there is no end to Lindsay Lohan's talents. For most people being a singer and actress would be time consuming enough but now the reformed star has launched herself as a leggings designer.

And who better to model the new range than the creator herself?

Wearing said leggings and a tiger-print mini-dress, Lindsay's line is obviously going to give the clothing a racier image than it has had in times gone by.

Along with platform high-heels and a long black cardigan, the star struck poses both inside and outside at the Vista Theater in Hollywood.

Lindsay Lohan axed from Manson movie

Lindsay Lohan has been axed from an upcoming film about Charles Manson - reportedly because no one else would sign up to star alongside her.

Lohan's rep today insisted the actress had 'passed up' the role.

Spokeswoman Leslie Sloane said Lohan passed the Manson film up in order to accept two other offers, including a guest star turn on the TV comedy Ugly Betty.

The actress was due to star in the independent movie The Manson Girls - playing Nancy Pitman, one of the cult followers of the notorious Manson who was convicted of seven counts of murder in 1971 - but was dropped after other actors refused to work alongside her.

The 21-year-old actress signed up for the movie in March and was due to start shooting in Los Angeles in July.

Manson masterminded a series of gruesome murders including that of pregnant actress Sharon Tate, the then-wife of director Roman Polanski. He is now 73 and serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in jail.

Nancy Pitman - who was known as Brenda when she was part of the 'Manson Family', the nickname given to his followers - ran away from her wealthy family home in Malibu, California, at the age of 16 to be with Manson. While she didn't participate in the murders, she is believed to have accompanied Manson to the scene of the crime afterwards to help remove evidence.

Lindsay Lohan's Rep: Leave Her Alone!

The fur is flyin’ in Lindsay Lohan’s camp.

I just got off the phone with her rep, who insists Lohan did not steal that fur coat or any clothing belonging to the New York City model accusing her of theft.

“This is crazy!” says Lohan’s rep. “They are being paid for their interviews. I want that on the record. The bombing of Lindsay has to stop. She is in a good place right now. Why can’t everyone leave her alone?”

Model Lauren Hastings claims that she has witnesses who saw Lohan earlier this year going through her closet and handing a bag of her belongings to a bodyguard during a party thrown by a housesitter at Hasting’s New York pad.

And as you’ve probably heard by now, fellow New Yorker Masha Markova claimed that Lohan lifted her fur during a night out in NYC.

But that’s not all. The rep is already shooting down an upcoming tabloid report that says Lohan had a fling two years ago with Bobby Brown’s son, Landon Brown. “They might as well print I had an affair with him, too,” the rep said. “They’ll print anything.”

Lohan 'terrific' in Ugly Betty

The show's creator Silvio Horta revealed the 21-year-old actress - who has had a well-publicised battle with alcohol and drugs - was a "pleasure" to work with on the set of the show, which follows the life of Mode magazine assistant Betty Suarez.

He said: "Lindsay was terrific - a real pleasure. She came in early and was very pleasant. She plays a queen bee girl who Betty went to high school with.

"Her character Kimberly appears in a flashback dodge ball game when she does the picking - it doesn't turn out well for Betty. They are going to run into each other in the present, when Kimberly's life has taken a turn for the worst."

Horta also confirmed Lindsay will return to the show for five episodes next season.

Lindsay isn't the only celebrity to have starred in the show alongside America Ferrera.

Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham appeared as magazine editor Wilhelmina Slater's bridesmaid in an episode last year while supermodel Naomi Campbell also filmed a cameo recently.

The Gutter Sniper: Lindsay Lohan - Coat Thief or Modern-Day Robin Hood?

So Lindsay Lohan stole a coat. She went to a nightclub, checked in her coat and checked out somebody else's. Easy mistake to make except that... the new one was an $11,000 mink number inherited by 22 year-old student Masha Markova. Who's now seeking damages. It had been her grandmother's.

There's fair scope for sub-standard puns here, what with Lohan Coke Coat Bust, Lindsay Stole A Stole and She's Stealing The Clothes Off Our Back... But we digress.

The point, or at least that which first illuminated our shadowy moral conscience, is of course: who can blame her? It's not like we've never committed a crime de fashion and, anyways, when you get all those freebies it must be kinda confusing going to cloakroom and being told you can't have whatever you want. Just look at Winona Ryder. Same problem, different era.

Also to be considered: Lindsay may have been sending a covert ethical message along the lines of "I dont buy fur, just steal it."

Not as crazy as it sounds, trust us. Many a time we've boycotted certain retailers because of their tendency to employ slave labour and/or Tory wives. But a freebie? Diffrent story. We know, we've heard it before, and thank you: modern day Robin Hood. Comes naturally.

So finally, a question: of all the wonderful effects Ms Lohan's heist may have, which is best? We're guessing that it might, possibly, maybe, be the New York Post's blow-by-blow account, charmingly entitled "The Star's Walk of Shame." Reproduced, especially for you, in our very own font.

Lohan Caught Up In Coat Riddle

Lindsay Lohan has been caught up in the riddle of a $11,000 fur coat, which went missing from a birthday party in a New York bar.

Masha Markova claims her blond mink jacket vanished when she tried to retrieve it from a bundle of coats at trendy nightspot 1 Oak, where she was celebrating the birthday of a friend on January 26.

Two weeks later she spotted Lohan, who was also present at the birthday party, wearing an identical garment in the pages of a celebrity magazine in photographs taken the same night the coat went missing. (Photos)

Markova tells the New York Post, "It was my coat. It was no doubt."

Markova instructed her lawyer to threaten to legal action the actress. Soon after, she was contacted by bosses at 1 Oak, who then returned the item, without explanation, smelling of alcohol and cigarette smoke and with a tear in the lining.

Although she cannot prove Lohan is responsible for "borrowing" the coat, Markova is demanding a $10,000 fee for the rental. She says, "I don't see how it could have been an accident."

Lindsay Lohan rebounds with "Ugly Betty" guest role

Actress Lindsay Lohan, working to rebuild her acting career after a year of personal turmoil, will appear as a guest star on the ABC television comedy "Ugly Betty," the network said on Monday.

Lohan, who has not starred in a feature film since last year's flop "I Know Who Killed Me," will join the popular sitcom's cast for six episodes, playing a mean former classmate of title character Betty, who suddenly resurfaces in her life.

The 21-year-old actress, who won critical praise and international stardom before lurid stories in the tabloid press began to overshadow her career, will make her first appearance on "Ugly Betty" on the May 22 season finale.

She will return to the Emmy-winning show, which stars America Ferrera as a smart and sweet but not-so-glamorous fashion magazine employee, for five episodes next season.

Lohan's turn on the small screen closely follows a similar move by another troubled young performer, Britney Spears, who surprised critics and delighted fans with a sassy guest appearance on the sitcom "How I Met Your Mother."

Spears' well-received acting role was taken as a sign that she had begun to recover from the personal problems that have dogged her in recent years, and Lohan's could be seen in the same light.

Lohan began her acting career at a young age and first won attention playing twins -- one of them with a dead-on British accent in the 1998 remake "The Parent Trap."

Lindsay Lohan's mugshot used in drink driving ad scare

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to publicity, but the inclusion of her mugshot in an advertisement attacking drink driving immobilization devices is certainly a first for the troubled actress.

The advertisement, paid for by the American Beverage Institute, featured Lohan's image prominently - saying that ignition interlocks were a "good idea" for multiple DUI offenders like Lohan, but a "bad idea" for regular social drinkers.

"The reason that we used Lindsay Lohan is because she's had multiple DUI's that have been high profile," American Beverage Institute managing director Sarah Longwell told The Associated Press.

"We needed to create the distinction for the public what someone with multiple DUI’s looked like versus a low blood-alcohol-level first-time offender."

Several US states have passed bills requiring drink driving offenders to purchase their own limitation devices that automatically scans drivers for blood alcohol levels, and demobilizes the engine if those levels are too high.

Lohan's lawyer, Blair Berk, said it was outrageous that these advertisements using Lohan's image were paid for by the Liquor industry.

"USA Today is idiotic to run such an irresponsible advertisement suggesting that drinking and driving is some kind of American 'tradition' we should protect," Berk said in a statement. "Not identifying that this ad was paid for by the liquor and restaurant industries is profoundly reckless.

"Drunk, white businessmen, drunk housewives out for girls night out and drunk wedding parties should be kept off the roads of America," Berk continued. "Lindsay Lohan fully endorses ignition interlock devices, which have been well-proven to save lives."

The American Beverage Institute stood by its use of Lohan's image.

"People magazine, Smoking Gun and a lot of people have republished this mug shot," said Longwell. "It was publicly accessible. We're not using it for any kind of commercial gain. So we're well within our rights to use it."

Lindsay Lohan mugshot used in liquor industry ad

Lindsay Lohan is not exactly toasting her latest public appearance. A mugshot of the 21-year-old actress, who has been in and out of rehab after two arrests last year on drunken driving and cocaine charges, was prominently featured Friday in an advertisement attacking legislation for devices that measure a driver's blood alcohol level before their vehicle can start.

The full-page black-and-white ad appeared in USA Today on Friday and was paid for by the American Beverage Institute, a trade group that supports the interests of the alcohol industry. The ad reads "Ignition interlocks are a good idea for" above Lohan's mug shot from her July 24, 2007 arrest and "But a bad idea for us" above smaller photos of people drinking.

"The reason that we used Lindsay Lohan is because she's had multiple DUIs that have been high profile," American Beverage Institute managing director Sarah Longwell told The Associated Press. "We needed to create the distinction for the public what someone with multiple DUIs looked like versus a low blood-alcohol-level first-time offender."

Lawmakers in several states have passed bills that would require drunken driving offenders to pay for and install an ignition interlock system. Under many such laws, the interlock requirement extends to first-time offenders driving while "highly intoxicated"or with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 percent or higher.

The ad suggested that ignition interlocks were fine for "hard-core" drunk drivers, but suggested they would bring an end to champagne toasts at weddings, wine at dinner and ballgame beers.

"USA Today is idiotic to run such an irresponsible advertisement suggesting that drinking and driving is some kind of American 'tradition' we should protect," Lohan's lawyer Blair Berk said in a statement. "Not identifying that this ad was paid for by the liquor and restaurant industries is profoundly reckless.
