Lindsay Lohan is making her first post-jail experience in Mark Ecko’s ads for his “Cut and Sew” line. Before Lohan turned herself into the authorities, she shot four film-noir-inspired skits with photography team Markus Klinko and Indrani who star on Bravo’s Double Exposure.

Lohan was filmed with HD cameras with augmented reality technology. When the print advertisements are held up onto a webcam, a hologram of her will appear on the image on the computer monitor.

The two photographers had only good things to day about Lohan, “We had a fifteen-page script that appeared at the last minute, and she was able to work with that.

She came in and learned her lines in five minutes, and then she really went beyond the lines and improvised. She showed huge emotional range. It was impressive and moving to watch."

There is also speculation that Lohan may be studying Scientology now that she is out of prison. A high ranking source in the Chirch said, “Lindsay is ready to join Scientology once she gets out of jail. For months she’s expressed interest in Scientology. Scientology will welcome her. Hopefully she can turn her life around here and realize her enlightenment with Scientology.”

Lohan, 24, had entered an all-female jail in Los Angeles on 20 July after violating her probation on a 2007 drunk-driving charge.

Entertainment website E! Online reported that Lohan was released in the early hours of Monday. The actress is now expected to begin an immediate 90-day rehab programme.

Lohan's early release from the Century Regional Detention Facility to the south of Los Angeles was not unexpected.Inmates serving time for non-violent offences typically have their sentences reduced for good behaviour and due to overcrowding. The Mean Girls actress spent just 84 minutes at the same facility in 2007.

Lindsay Lohan is getting 250 letters a day behind bars. The Mean Girls star has been overwhelmed by notes from fans. But she is only allowed to get 10 at a time - so she will have plenty of reading material when she is released from the women's jail in Lynwood, California. 'You only get 10 letters at any one time, and deliveries are only once or twice a day,' spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

'Most inmates don't get anywhere near that kind of mail. It will be given to her or an associate when she leaves.' She must return her letters to get new ones. The 24-year-old actress is serving a 90-day sentence for violating probation on her 2007 drunk-driving arrest but she is expected to walk free early next week.

It's so bad that when Lindsay flew back from France in May, she asked a friend to fly from L.A. to Paris, just so she would have someone to fly home with her.
