Lindsay Lohan rubbishes cutting reports

Lindsay Lohan has rubbished recent reports that she has once again resorted to cutting herself. Reports of Lindsay's self mutilation had earlier surfaced in 2006 after she was spotted with scars on her wrists. The fresh reports were based on a scar on the inside of her right arm, close to the elbow, in paparazzi photos shot as she emerged from a Golden Globes pre-party at the Chateau Marmont on Saturday, January 16.
Refuting the fresh reports Lindsay was categorical, if not convincing. "I've had that scar on my arm for a very long time now - it's funny it's just being noticed. I had surgery a while ago for an injury I had when I was younger, nothing having to do with depression or anything of the sort. Now back off, people! There are more important world issues to focus on!"
